The firm was originally founded in 1976 as K.O. Lau & Co., which merged in 1996 with Albert C.Y. Cho & Co, and subsequently transitioned to become Lau & Lau Certified Public Accountants in 2017. Lau & Lau currently consists of a team of 8 CPAs with internationally recognized professional qualifications and specializes in accounting and related services. Due to the firm’s long-established experience and knowledge in Hong Kong and Mainland China, it is capable to provide unique insights and services to its local and international clients facing the particular demands of these markets. Lau & Lau, together with its associated companies which are licensed Trust and Company Service Providers “TCSP” registered with the Hong Kong Companies Registry, provide services including but not limited to: statutory audit, tax compliance, tax planning, consultancy services, financial and company management and secretarial services. Throughout its 40+ years history, the firm currently have more than 500 clients in Hong Kong, Mainland China and overseas ranging from well-established private companies, multi-national foreign enterprises, non-profit organization, professional firms and joint ventures.
